In this lecture Dr. Robert Baxter will be considering the use of relevant remotely-sensed data in informing a better understanding of key ecological processes across heterogeneous landscapes. Dr. Robert Baxter will draw upon research programmes in northern Eurasian, including my own work in northern Fennoscandia and the North West Territories of Canada.
