The paper discusses modern evolution trends of remote monitoring information systems (RMS) development and support approaches. These trends analysis results show that effectiveness of development and support of such systems would increase with creation of dedicated information frameworks based on resources of large data processing, storage and dissemination centers. The paper provides requirements to such frameworks, their possible architecture and main components. Such frameworks should provide RMS developers with convenient and standardized data access services, data processing services, data analysis services, computational resources for RMS elements hosting and RMS development tools.
